Springfield contest

I'm sure glad I went--ready or not(NOT). Had one of the closest non fatal mid-airs I've ever seen--I think Todd was doing his snap as Charlie Rock went by(or vice-versa) and somehow Todd put two very clean slices through Charlie's rudder with his prop--and we didn't even notice it at the time. No damage to Todd's airplane and Charlie was fixed and ready to go in about a half hour or so. After seeing the rudder, it did remind me just how much damage can be done in an EXTREMELY short amount of time.

                      Beware de props.

The Springfield contest, as always, was first class. Its always a great time made by the great folks of the Springfield club. Great job everyone!

Just wanted to give a big thanks to Dan Curtis and his club for the great job on this past weekend contest! Weather was perfect, and the hospitality from everyone of the Springfield Black sheep squadron was outstanding!
Nice job Dan, for everything! Charlie Rock
