OS 160 setup question

Has anyone had a problem with this engine throwing props and spinners? It
has happened to me a few times when the tank is almost empty. I suspect that
what is happening is air bubbles are developing in the feed line due to the
almost empty tank subseqently causing a lean run resulting in the engine
back firing. Any help on this is appreciated.
