I hope some of you find my G2 pattern practice set up useful. There
are a lot of days between now and the first east coast contest, and
I don't want my thumbs to forget what I've worked so hard to teach
them in the past few months.

This weekend was my first contest in Intermediate. I flew the
sequence for the first time Monday, and I was lucky just to do all
the right maneuvers on Saturday. Actually, I didn't do the correct
final maneuver, two half rolls opposite, in the first round. I did
two consecutive rolls instead, and I thought they looked really
good until the judges pointed out my error. Oops!

I was soundly put in my place. No longer the upstart Sportsman D2
Champion, I'm now officially a struggling, bottom of the class
Intermediate pilot, and I'm really happy to be here.
