I stopped by the local hobby shop today and picked up a flyer for
an upcoming Pattern clinic at the Rocky Mountain Flying Field.
A nationally known pattern pilot, finishing 5th in the Team
Selection/NATS in the FAI class at the 2004 NATS will be there, as
well as at least two top level Master and Advanced pilots to assist.
Directions are I-40 west (Albuquerque) to exit 149, Make a right
turn then an immediate left onto the North Frontage Rd. Its about
3 1/2 miles and the field is on the right. I stopped by and it
really looks like a great field

On the topic of help, was setting up someone's plane with a 9303
at the Farm club and here is what I found out (thanks to Danny
Snyder who relayed to me at the Don Lowe Masters a couple of weeks
ago). Use p-mix with throttle as master and elevator as slave.
Program offset so it kicks in just at three clicks above idle. Now,
here is the item of interest. Select the # throttle rather than
just the throttle. This creates an "ORIG" with "TRIM OFF" control,
so the mix won't change if you move your thottle trim lever
