OS160 Engine mount

It is a NIGHTMARE to widen the beam interior spacing....I wore out a belt on my sander/grinder, and it was UGLY. But it worked. Personally, I believe the Gator needs a nose ring, but I've run 'em both ways. Best was a nose ring.

It's a little heavy, and kinda hard to install/line up for thrust line (no reference marks anywhere, no installation template to mark up fuse with), but it can be done.

  Bob - Thanks for the reply.

  I have been using a Gator with my Webra 145s. Happy with the result. But was not sure if it would be enough mount for an OS160. See any problems using a Gator?

    Depends on who you ask. I have found the bang at low throttle to be enough to warrant an anti-vibration mount...I've used several...Gator Soft N Safe, Dave Brown, MK, Hyde, Homemade, The Davis/Piedmont mounting system, DuBro....they are ALL different.
        My preferences;
            1.  Hyde Mount
            1.  MY HomeMade mount
            2.  Gator
            3.  Davis/Piedmont
            99.  DuBro Soft Mount
            100.  MK Soft Mount
            101. Dave Brown Imitation of the MK

      So what engine mounts do you use with your OS160?

      How soft a mount is really needed for this engine or other large 2-strokes?
