Ignorant about brazing...

Thanks Karl & John.
     I have enough info now to tackle some scraps and see just what my 
learning curve is like.  I have found some excellent web sites beating the 
cleanliness issue repeatedly. Thanks to the list for being the medium for me 
to give it a go..
