Suggestions for Sport Pattern 40 - 60 size plane

I have to add to that one. Many years ago when I flew and competed in control line stunt, I flew a Nobler back then. Every time I flew the plane was a practice flight.There was no horsing around it was serious bidness.Even at $2.00 a gal. the fuel was expensive to me so I made it all count. The same goes with these pattern planes. You can wear out a engine before you get to the nats and have to change and repair servos all the time.I am still making it all count.Every flight is for real.Nothing wrong with knock around planes,but after flying a pattern plane for so long the others are not good flyers. I like Matts idea about these guys getting the used pattern plane and getting into pattern the right way.I know there are a lot of them around. I have one that will be for sale when I put ss bearings in the engine and get it running again. Webra 145 and Focus 1 two 4131 servos,2 7005 servos and throttle.It will be a good buy. I rattle a lot, my story and stickin' to it.  I agree with you Verne.the better plane is best to start with.
