Nelson hobby paint

Mixed results. It must be sprayed very thin and such requires many coats to get good coverage. I used distilled water but I have heard you can mix it with Isopropyl alcohol, at least the primer can be cut with alcohol. If you use water only to thin, the primer takes 24 hours to cure. It sands best wet but can be sanded dry if fully cured. The colors are not a good monokote match and to get the "wet" look, you will need to spray the Nelson clear with the additive added to make it totally nitro proof. Up side is there is no smell, cleanup in your sink with water. There have been problems with it lifting under light tack automotive masking tapes but I personally did not experience that issue.

Any use the Nelson hobby paint for their model? If so what do you think of it?
