Video card to support new AFP Delux flight simulator

Dion Cini at Ohio Model Products (US distributor for AFP Deluxe) has told me that my FX 5200 w/64mb will be fine...I'm still eyeballing a ATI9600, though....seems the higher processor speed and 128mb is really what makes the 3D engine sing...
nVidia processors now are up to 5900-series, if I've read price-watch.com correctly.

You can geta used NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 off ebay for around $40 plus shipping. These are 128MB APG 4+ video cards. Same company was the card you are using and at least 2 generations newer.

I need help from the computer literate. I would like to purchase the new AFP Delux flight simulator program. It appears my computer's video card will not support the program.

I pulled the spec sheet on my Sony computer. It is a Sony Vaio PCV-RX560 computer with:
    1.7GHz, 256MB RAM, NVIDIA TNT2 M64 (32MB) graphics acceleration.
Do I need to both upgrade the RAM and the graphics card?
What is a good "plug-in" graphics card that will do the job but is still fairly inexpensive?

    Thanks - Steve
