2-56 pushrods on a 2M ship

Ed,

As long as you use one piece steel pushrods, don't use the threaded
brass ends that can be soldered onto the end of steel rods.
These will break eventually with the heavier vibration and weight
of the larger aileron on a 2m plane.

  What's the word on using 2-56 pushrods on a 2M sized bird?  I'm thinking of doing it to get finer adjustment ability, but will they hold up?  I'm thinking of trying these only on ailerons, where it's a very short run.
