hinge line

I betchya if we had a mini wind tunnel and access to some good smoke
we could display a relative relationship between the location of the
hinge line and the point of flow reattachment. I suspect that this
point maybe further aft than we may be thinking which, in my mind,
would explain the more effective narrow elevator.
