According to a recent conversation with a World Champion, each wing half should be no more than 11oz complete, for a 2m bird.

A couple of tips he gave were: use the lowest density foam you can find and use it solid, then weight each balsa sheet to select the lightest possible, and use as little epoxy as possible.
