Send the transmitter to Radio South and if Tony believes it isn't worth
fixing he'll tell you so. At least then you'll know for certain what
you should do.

Subject: Are transmitters worth repairing?

Well an interesting thing happened on the way tot he field to get a trim
flight on the new Focus2. I took the transmitter off the charger,
turned it on to adjust the new aileron set-up and smoke came out of the
transmitter. I guess something had a short somewhere. As reasonable as
electronics are today, is it worth trying to get an unknown problem
reparied or just get a new transmitter?

Sincerely;
Randy Hatfield
