I have to agree with you on the Lava-soft program. I had a browser hijacker that was making me crazy. Nobody at tech support  (Mcafee, SBC) could help me. I downloaded Ad-Aware 6 from Lavasoft and it jacked the hijacker. I strongly recommend it!!!
