Hi Bill,
The district VP appoints the CB members. Fortunately in my district the CB member is with the program, so I don't have to yell. He's even a fun guy ...

Dean:
Out of curiosity..........will hounding our districe VE's do any good? they have no vote,as far as I know. All they can do, as I understand it, is to offer their opinions to the CB, same as you and me. Am Imisisng something here? Wouldn't be the first time!<G>

So let's publish the voting record in the K-Factor. It's only useful if we all go hound our AMA dstrict VPs as a result.

Ed....
    Sounds great ... BUT...
We have been down this time a few times before over the years. Just different magnitudes and with internet is more open forum for discussion. Some members have a different agenda and follow what they feel is important.
My suggestion is to make those that vote and control the issues that guide this SPORT have their voting record posted on this forum or on the NSRCA web site for us to review and question the motives behind their decisions. Sort of like the ribbing that goes on for sandbaggers to move up. It would either drive the people underground or out of office. Both might be better than keep repeating history. This is only MHO as lame as it may be.

Having read all the posting on the list on this subject. Several things are clear to me and this is simply my take on things.

1) The vote is over. What's done is done and that's it.

2) Some people are mad some are not(human nature is such that usually only the upset ones voice an opinion ie lobbyiest success in our capital)

3) Their is nothing at this time to be achieved by continuing to persue th negatives.

4) We can however learn from this experience. More emphasis has to be placed on calling our AMA District Reps. A formal survey is only a document and can be scewed in any which way, same as a phone poll. We are again at, the membership must contact the District Reps to give input.

5) As with most activities or memberships, a very few are passionate and highly motivated.

6) Lets do our best to accept these changes, read not agree with or like, but accept and work towards the next rules cycle where someone may add a snap into the new Intermediate schedule and if so wished, add a new rules proposal to add scoring of L/TO.

Just my opinion.
