Idle question

I believe some of the higher idle some see if result of plane moving through
air and if faster than screw is turning or at least dynamically unloaded
will turn a few more rpm. Case in point if I set my idle trim to the kill
spot on my system it will often stay running while on final unless I close
it all the way to starve engine.
