Focus Canopy

Hello all:

I am replacing the Focus I canopy.  The old canopy is OK but got a lot of wrinkles on both sides.  I am planing to paint the new canopy inside.  After painting I am planing to glue light balsa on the sides to reinforce and avoid the wrinkles.

I just wanted to get a feedback.  I am sure that there are a lot of good ideas out there.
