You can also reverse (turn them over) the plastic flapper valves in the pump
and it will correct some minor problems if you have overheated the engine and
baked the pump which caused the valves to take a different shape. Nothing to
loose trying this if the pump doesn't work anyway.......... Just be very
careful and inventory the pieces and positions as you take the pump apart.

Nat, is the 1.40rx pump just set for a higher volume? I wonder why Hobby
Services didn't use some of the available pieces to repair it? I bet that all I
need is to replace the plastic piece that acts as the stopper valve. I am sure
that the metal pieces are fine.

Lem you may be able to repair the pump yourself. If not the OS140RX uses the
same pump, about $150 m/l.

Does anyone have an OS PD-05 pump they are willing to sell? I have a Hanno
61 in a plane I just finished and the pump died. Hobby Services does not sell
parts for this pump anymore. It is the later version of the Hanno that has
one pump inlet and one pump outlet.

Please email landcstevens at comcast.net

Thanks,

Lem
