Focus 2 Elevator Pushrod

Scott -
Take a couple of yellow inner nyrods and run
them thru the two push rod slots, up to the
radio compartment.  Thread them onto the
the two threaded push rod sections, and pull
the assembly out thru the push rod slots.
BTW, I just finished a pair of Focus' myself.
You should see a least one of them this 
summer.

  I am having trouble with figuring out how to install the elevator pushrod as said in the manual on my Focus 2. When we bend the metal ends that go from the carbon fiber rod to the elevator halfs, it doesn't look like they will fit into the back of the fuse where the exit holes are. Any suggestions on how I go about doing this????
