Spring Air Retracts

Hi Chris...it has been quite a while since I used Spring Air retracts
but if I remember correctly, I used a 'S' hook around the gear leg and
the air inlet
of the cylinder to keep the gear leg inside the wing while transporting.

Subject: Spring Air Retracts

Hello All-
My Typhoon 2+2 is almost complete, and I hope to test fly thisweekend.
Many thanks to Dick Belden for making this possible. One thing that has
come up is with the retracts. Here is the situation and question -
With Spring Air retracts, the gear is down when there is no air
pressure. Due to transportation issues, I use a wing bag. See the
problem? How do you guys who use Spring Airs get the retracts to stay
in the "up" position for transportation in a wing bag?
Your thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated!
Thanks,

Chris Larson
