Summit III

Ryan,

The plans that I have in my kit show the cg 8 1/8 inches in front of the
wing trailing edge at the root. That is some distance (approximately 1 ¼
inch) behind the center of the wing tube. The wing tube is a little
forward of its typical location in a pattern plane because of the
tricycle gear setup of this plane

Subject: Summit III

I just purchased the .60 size version of the Summit III and was hoping
that
someone could tell me where the suggested CG is at on the airplane. This

will be my first pattern aircraft and based on an estimated guess the
airplane seems tail heavy w/ battery pack located at forward most point
of
the fuselage plus about 6 oz of lead up front. Please advise...
