OS 1.60 Pump Conversion

I'm changing my OS 1.60 to a Perry pump and would like some suggestions about how to install it in the backplate.  The backplate is much larger i.d. in the recess than the o.d. of the pump.
    Anyone have any ideas?

(I don't have access to a lathe or machine shop)
