Anthony,

This is the way I would recommend to make small adjustments to
Headers. Do not use a torch! Unless your experienced with the
melting point of aluminum. It will not give you any warning as to what
temperature it is at. The metal will just disappear.
I would take a small aluminum block, drill and tap or use through bolts
and nuts and bolt the header to this. Then clamp the block in the vice
instead of the bolts. This way your not doing any damage to the header.
Or you can buy a header with the thrust offsets built in. :-)
