Lead Acid Battery Charger

Depending on your use...I've found the Prestone "JumpStart" to be a nice unit. It's an 18 amp/hour cell in a plastic "carrying" case...nice handle, with built in charge unit and jumpers attached. Don't need the jumpers, though I guess it could be handy for it's intended purpose...but it comes with 2 cigarette adapters built in and I added 2 sets of bananna jacks as well. Make a wonderful field charging battery for fast charging and for taking to the dome to fly electrics.

-M
Ps...runs about $60

Subject: Re: Lead Acid Battery Charger

Please excuse me for chiming in, but:
I've tried all the usual outlets, (Wal_Mart, Advance Auto, etc.) to try
to find a lawn tractor battery with a handle. I had one that I had
bought from Wal-Mart about a year ago, but it was stolen from my van.
(Not a modelerwho did it, I'm sure; the van had been in various shops
for work and I'm positive it happened there, not at the field.)
Anyway, anybody who can come up with a source for a lawn tractor battery
with a handle will have my undying affection! :-*
