Speaking as one of the butt kickee's in Masters, it didn't look like luck to me. Looked like really good flying.
And a new innovation from Charlie Reed, fixed gear on one side of the plane, retracts on the other!

And I lucked out in Masters....
It was great fun....lots of good times, good fellows, and great stories!!! And there were more than just a couple of two strokes that ran quite well, I might add....
