Xmitter springs

The springs tension is not the cause of any failures that I know of, either
with the Futaba heaver springs, or with the Radio South ones.
The failure is caused by the loop on the end of the spring not being quite
large enough. What happens is if the loop is snug when installed on the
spring adjuster or on the 1/2 scissor arm, the plastic end will be under
tension when the stick is moved. This will tend to bend the tip of the
plastic end slightly when the stick is moved. Over time, this will cause
the tip to break off.
The cure is to make sure that the replacement spring loop is large enough to
allow movement when installed. Just test fit the spring and make sure there
is some play when installed and you will not have any problems.
Hope this helps everyone!
