Hey Gordon, from your first post I thought I might have found that spare
engine I have been looking for.
Let me know if you are going to dump it.

Jerry,
Thanks for the offer to tune it up for me! I have been getting some
additional
ideas and I will likely try a few more things, after I cool down! I'll have
to
wait till the season ends because we have a bunch of contests in the next
month.

Hi Gordon,
Sorry to hear you're having continuing problems with your Webra motor, I
know
first hand how frustrating it can be trying to diagnose powerplant issues.
And
if the motor is defective, the only solution is to send it back, or repair
it
yourself (which can be inconvenient and/or expensive).
I've been fortunate in that I've had very few problems with the Webra's I've
had
(and I've pushed mine harder than anybody). I'm not saying the Webra motors
are
perfect, but set up properly they can work extremely well.
And to be honest, one can make the same negative comments about ANY of the
motors in use today (even the electrics). YS, OS, Webra, 3M, Hacker - they
all
have their quirks, good points, and bad points.
Is there someone in your area who has a similar setup that can help you
resolve
this? If not, I'd be happy to take a look at your motor (even fly it in my
E=MC3 if needed) to see if I can help sort it out.
Thx, Jerry
(BTW - I don't get paid to do this. I'm sponsored only by my wife and our
two
dogs)
