Does anyone know if the same nipple used on the OS 160 can be used on the OS
91 fx in the same manner ie. the top left hole on the backplate?
You should be able to, assuming the threads are the same, and the bottom of
the hole either exits into the crankcase or can be drilled to do so. I used a
160 pressure tap on an ST 91 successfully by drilling the hole thru into the
crankcase. Did the same on an OS 160 that did not have the hole drilled thru
originally. Be very careful to catch all of the aluminum chips! That location
was very common to use many years ago on engines running pressurized systems
for racing.
