New NMP headers

This has been my experience,
I purchased one of these headers the day they came on the market. I
installed it a few days later with the High temp red #26B on my DZ and
started flying after cure. Problems started early, adaptor started
working loose the first time after only 3 flights. The process
retightening started, some occasions only after 1 flight some times
maybe 3 flights. After about 25 flights I had enough of this and
reinstalled my trusty old style header. I returned the NMP to Central
with a letter stating my problem. They quickly contacted me and
informed me some changes that have been made. Most notable change was
to the adaptor, it is now made out of steel. Another change was a
deeper machine cut on mating surface to engine to allow header to be
supported by a larger area on engine. Central shipped me a free
replacement. I am currently flying this new design. I have about 4
gallons of fuel thru it and it seems to work great. I am purchasing a
2nd for a spare. I used Ultra Black 598B in lieu of the copper type and
its fine. I had many tubes of it laying around and have used it on my
L's with good success. The upgrades makes it a winner.

Subject: New NMP headers

Just wondering if anyone is using the new headers, and what kind of luck
their having?
