Ed,
If you go with an internal nylon bolt, I advise not using it instead of a
forward adjuster.  In testing I've found that the large majority of the
aerodynamic lifting forces are on the wing between the tube and front
adjuster. You need the part of the wing between the tube and front adjuster
to never move.  if the bolt is used in place of a snug front adjuster, you
run the risk of it slipping in flight.
