Any pattern flying near NE Arkansas?

Larry,
AR is in D6 as of Jan 1. Welcome, buddy. There are a lot of pattern fliers
in the district but it's a BIG district. Consider doing what I did. I found
a flier in my club that was bit hard by the hobby and seemed to have an
interest in aerobatics and what the tricks are actually named (as opposed to
the kind of flying where we bang the sticks and keep it above the horizon).
I went slow and built a friendship and support group. We helped each other
alot and considered contests the real opportunity to learn. Had lots of fun
along the way. Wasn't till the end of the 2nd season that we'd climbed from
nothing to a competitive sportsman pilot, but by then the web had grown to
many pattenr friends and it all got easier.
