I used a single side adhesive backed foam pad tape, similar to what you
find
on the Robart Styrofoam model stands.  Sometimes I wrap a towel around it,
if need be.
I have not had to replace this material, but have seen it at Home Depot.
It's basically weather stripping.

For me the adhesive didn't hold.
