Nose rings, WAS Re: TEST- now motor mount Poll

Bob,
I looked at the McMaster Carr website at the o ring you described.  If I'm looking at the right one, it has an "X" crossection.  How did you sandwich it between two ply plates?  I'm having a hard time visualizing it.
