Just called Kirk to wish him a Happy New Year, (just HAS to be better 
than the last one!) and he says he's coming right along.  Actually went 
out and flew a trainer plane yesterday.  Has all his motor reflexes 
still working, etc.
Sounds cheerful and in good spirits; he feels he will be ready to go 
come Spring..
Many thanks to Robert Gainey for the updates etc. on Kirk.  We'd be hard 
pressed to keep up with Kirk without Robert's keeping in close contact.
