Tony, are you sure about this? What do you mean by "radio"?  Do you mean
whole thing or just a transmitter module? I believe it's the RF module only
which is the subject of FCC regulations. After all the only FCC sticker is
on the module. I'm looking at my futaba tranny and can't find anything else
inside out. When you remove module, there is no way to find out where was
transmitter purchased. One can purchase radio anywhere in the world, plug in
FCC certified 72mHz module and it's legal in the US. And vise versa. I'm
taking my US purchased futaba transmitter with me to Europe on vacations. In
Germany, I've bought 35mHz module which has a German Post sticker on it and
it's perfectly legal there.
Am I missing something?
