Fuel Line setup for A mintor 170

Mike,
I've been looping the line outside, as well, for a while now.
Yes, the wand needs to be longer than the top of the "T", and it shouldn't have any burrs on the end, either.

That Idea with the T sounds cool. So the filler wand
would want to go through the straight section of the T
pointing at the tank, correct?

Ive just ran my line outside the fuse, either with the
Tettra 90 degree bulkhead fittings or lately just loop
the line out of the fuse through some grommets.
