Actually I understand your explanation,and suspected that was the case.I 
feel that the engine compartment is an unfriendly place for a servo,hi-temp 
and oil residue area.
I had a G62 with the throttle servo mounted inside the fuse on the box mount 
and it survived ok.
Go fer it.
