Super Star 60

I'm posting this for a friend that just bought a Super Star 60 at a swap meet.

I've never seen the likes of this type of kit. The fuse looks like gel coated fiberglass. The wings appear to be gel coated fiber glass over thin blue foam. It has plug in wings and calls for adjustable stab. Molded in Pipe tunnel and removable chin cowl. The stabs are sheeted foam.

Looking for tips on building. Is the adjustable stab necessary on this plane?
