What kind of paint is on Focus II cowl?

I need to repaint my pipe trough and do some touch up
on the cowl.  It didn't hold up to exposure to 25%
nitro fuel.  I'd like to try Nelson paint with the
crosslinker.

Any comments?  My main question is that they say this
paint will not stick to a lacquer based paint or
primer.  So does anybody know what paint is used on
the Focus II cowl?  Is is epoxy based or lacquer
based?
