Sorry, this note was supposed to be a "Reply" to Del. I keep forgetting that the "reply button" will go to the discussion-list and not just the sender. Must be out of practice :-)

  Del,
I thought that you would be interested to know that my son is now on his first cruise, (I love the way that they call it a cruise), around the Med. He tells me that he is a Green-shirt airframe mech. One of his jobs is keeping people away from the props on his E-2's when they are getting ready to launch.

I wonder if he will be interested in flying models when he gets back :-)

Happy Holidays to you and yours,

  Best regards,

  Eric.

It would be nice if we had the 'modern pattern competitor psyche' figured out.

It never ceases to amaze me what the competitor will pay to give him an edge. Even if its a perceived edge and not a real edge, it matter not at all. It's what he believes in his own mind that matters.

This thing shall be purchased as well, and megabucks paid. Yup, I believe companies such as OS, YS, ZNLine, Radio makers and the Electric Set-up makers have the modern Pattern Competitor psyche figured out pretty well.
