N-PAC BBQ

The thing most memorable about the event is that there was time for the 
competitors to enjoy themselves. I recall attending judge training, flying, 
practicing, my son running scores - yet there was time for lunch at Miss 
Mary Bobo's family restaurant, a tour of the Jack Daniel facility, touring 
the Beech Stagerwing museum (on site), the BBQ, watching the finals, and an 
afternoon fishing with my son. The only people that were stressed all week 
were Mike and Maureen. We've somehow lost that quality at the Nats.

I would love to have a picture of my son dancing with Ivan K at the BBQ! Fun 
time.

Well...to be fair, I recall there was a pretty good spread...but I also 
recall that the catfish was the only food product that this northern boy 
recognized as safe for consumption (besides the beverages :) )   Everything 
else on the menu was foriegn to me....

Where's Jason in all this...I seem to recall that was a fairly memorable 
contest for him.

It WAS memorable or you wouldn't have so many positive responses from
the people who were there.  As I remarked earlier, I'll NEVER forget
that 'barbecue', even though we were reported to have had catfish.  Are
you SURE we had catfish?
