Jim and others having this problem!
Go to an electrical supply house and buy a roll of 3M Scotch Self-Fusing Silicone Rubber Electrical Tape it is Class "H" Insulation and comes in a 1" x 30 foot roll this is a high temp.350F + self fusing inorganic silicone rubber material put a couple of wraps on your pipe then tie it down with your tie wrap with fuel tubing threaded over it, problem solved. I have used this set up for several years and hundreds of flight's with no problems. The tape is gray colored with a clear peel off, it will not stick to your pipe it will only stick to itself, I also use this around the front housing of my YS-140L to tighten up the nose ring, works well there to.
Buddy
