140L woes

Hey everyone.

Joe has an L that ran great last year. This year, it has been overhauled(needed). The problem is the engine dies only on landing approach. Not during a spin, stall turn, or idling on the ground. In fact, prior to takeoff it will idle extremely well, for 5-6 minutes, only at the end of the flight, with fuel, it dies about 5 ft high. It doesn't matter how fast the idle is advanced either.

We have changed everything we can think of, including servo, linkage, regulator, carb. checked for airleaks, adjusted low end, adjusted regulator,

Stranglely it runs extremely strong in the air. Any suggestions or has anyone had this same problem.

Thanx in advance

ed and Joe
