Engine Starter

Lee:
I've got a Sullivan starter that will start even a Moki 1.8--done it
many times. I power it with my lawn tractor battery I had at Green Sea
that I use as an all purpose battery; starting, charging Rx and Tx
batteries, etc.
I've also got a Miller starter which is geared, (using a Sullivan
starter as a base, with a Gilmer cog belt reduction drive.) Miller says
that this starter can be used with 24 volts, of which I have no doubt
that it would start my Chevy Van if necessary. If you want, I'll bring
something to the field on Saturday.
I've found that most all of these other commonly used starters are
pretty wimpy alongside the Sullivan Dynatron. Just my experience.
