I didn't try it. I reviewed it as an engine intended for pipe, and I wasn't about to give up the horsepower, myself.

Dean,

With respect to your Mintor 140 article, how does it run on a muffler as
opposed to a pipe. I would expect some loss in power
but also a loss in cost. Tried to buy a Mintor 1.40 from troybuilt models a
while back, they had a sale goingm but they were out of the 140.
