Better yet is to mail all current members and any newly joining members a copy of the by-laws to cut down grumbling and desention. I know when I joined they were not given out. I do have my set which I believe is current.

Because you are the current VP, you should have an idea of who might be a good replacement for you.  Hopefully, that person will be nominated, but if not, I would suggest that you nominate them so that they will be on the ballot.

  My biggest fear here is that our members have forgotten (or didn't read in the first place) what the revised By-Laws said about VP elections.  I don't want to end up with half of the districts without nominees...  I wrote about this in my column in the next issue of K-Factor, so we will just have to see how it goes...
