Del:

You have a good point and it should be something that we either mail out or put in the K-Factor perhaps once a year, maybe right around election time.

But no all new joiners and even some don't read this list and should still have that info as part of joining the organization. Those that are left out tend to develop a nasty taste in their mouth for being ignored or not part of the elite. Many social organizations I have been associated with in my life have done this and has always come back to bite them in the butt.

Better yet is to mail all current members and any newly joining members a copy of the by-laws to cut down grumbling and desention. I know when I joined they were not given out. I do have my set which I believe is current.

Rather than having the NSRCA go to the expense of mailing out copies to everyone, anyone who wants a copy can go to the NSRCA web site (nsrca.org), 'click' on About NSRCA and then 'click' on NSRCA Constitution. Voila!

        Steve:

Actually, what is needed is to get some NSRCA district members to nominate people for the position. Because you are the current VP, you should have an idea of who might be a good replacement for you. Hopefully, that person will be nominated, but if not, I would suggest that you nominate them so that they will be on the ballot.

My biggest fear here is that our members have forgotten (or didn't read in the first place) what the revised By-Laws said about VP elections. I don't want to end up with half of the districts without nominees... I wrote about this in my column in the next issue of K-Factor, so we will just have to see how it goes...

Gentlemen and pilots of NSRCA District 7,

I will be resigning my role as NSRCA District 7 VP end of the 2003 season. Mr. Tony Stillman has requested me to find a replacement... Please e-mail me anyone that you feel will represent the District or if you yourself would like the role send me your name.

            Thanks.

Well, I for one, (and I'm sure I speak for many) want to offer a huge thanks, you have put a tremendous effort into the position and that effort will be missed my all. Thanks for a job well done!!

          Bob
