I would like to thank everyone for the information on the Vivat. It sounds like a real nice set up and I hope to get an in person look at one soon.
Thanks agaon

Anthony,
Regarding the Vivat - not much to say - I have 2 on the way!!
Seriously, as followup to Dean's comments -
This past weekend at Windsor, 2 Vivats were flown - Ken flying one new for 2003
(in Masters) and Bev Cowell flying Ken's orginal in Advanced.
Ken was kind enough to let me fly his Vivat on 2 occasions (total of 4 flights)
and after some tweaking of the rates/expo in an alternate memory (kinda tough,
I don't speak much Futaba), the setup was more comfortable (we fly very
different setups) and about the only thing I would change is the CG (forward,
personal preference) and prop. I flew the plane in relatively calm conditions
and in a pretty nasty cross wind - plenty slow in the calm, very locked up and
fast enough in the wind. Recently, Ken has started running a 3 blade
(repitched by myself) and the speed of the plane is VERY constant.
The overall construction design and execution is very good (full composite
structure, live hinges sealed top and bottom, excellent parts fit) and the
finish weight will be between 9.5 and 10 lbs depending on the equipment used.
I know Ken monitors this list, and would be able to answer any other questions
you might have.
Regards,
Dave Lockhart
