Fail Safe

Lost my Schmooze to exactly the same symptoms, and then my Fresca
started doing nasty tricks that I wasn't inputting so I quickly got the
POJ out of that airplane and put my Futaba in it instead. The unit was
returned to Horizon and they couldn't find any problems with the Tx,
Rcvr, Switch, Pak, or Servos. The ground range is over 400 feet with
antenna collapsed, but the failure occurs in the air at distances even
less than this.On the Schmooze the fail-safe was in default mode and it
went into fail-safe just as I input the commands for a snap. It screwed
itself all the way into the ground. In the Fresca, I began a 1/2 Cuban
turnaround toward the end of the box and when the airplane attained
vertical attitude it stopped the looping element and tried to continue
vertically as I had changed the FS programming settings to neutral
deflection.
If you think I have a lot of confidence in this system you should
schedule an appointment with your shrink.
In my case, I can definitely "Feel the Difference", and it's not a
feeling that I enjoy, I don't care who has switched.
