Yes, you can use just about any 2 cycle tuned pipe on just about any 4 cycle
engine.  I have several customers that use the 3.5cc on the YS 120/140
engines with great success.  It is not as quiet as the Hatori or ES carbon
pipes, but it does work fine.

The reason that the 3.5cc pipe is preferred is because you can use the
Johnson header which has a 5/8" outlet diameter, which is the same as the
inlet diameter of the Mac's 3.5cc pipe.
